Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Office Clerk/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing customer inquiries, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate order processing in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and delivery status.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with warehouse personnel and transportation providers.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, discrepancies, and shipment delays.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Enter and update information in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and customer portals.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and document management.
Qualifications:
- Previous Customer Service Representative experience a plus!
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a 3PL, logistics, distribution, transportation, or warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional and customer-focused attitude.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems and customer portals.
- Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience working with major retailers, carriers, or e-commerce fulfillment operations.
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to walk through warehouse facilities.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds when necessary.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday (schedule may vary based on business needs).
Pay Rate:
DOE (Depending on Experience)
